“HARAU KHONGCHAT”- An Equitable Tourism

DAY-1
Day & Date: Friday,
Leave Dhaka and start journey in the early morning at 7:00 AM on the way to destination where the natural beauty can be observed. There are tea gardens, hilly areas and remote rural scenes. You will arrive at Srimangal at around 11:00 AM. After having a look around of the surroundings of Srimangal area will move towards Kamalganj where culturally rich Manipuri people reside, will reach there at around 12:00 noon.

WELCOME

Light refreshment & LUNCH with traditional Manipuri dish.

Visit to Crafts persons like Goldsmith, Weavers and other crafts activities,
Visit to Madhabpur Lake and Academy.
Visit to a local Adampur bazaar.

DINNER & HOMESTAY

DAY-2
Day & Date: Saturday,
Start in the early morning at 7:00 AM to visit Madhab-Kundu Water Fall at Barlekha Upazila. On the way it can be observed the tea gardens, beel and haor.

LUNCH at 2:00 PM near at water fall area.
Return to Humerjan Village by 5:00 PM
A Cultural show for entertainment like traditional Manipuri dance, Pung Cholom & others in the evening.

DINNER & HOMESTAY


DAY-3
Day & Date: Sunday,
Leave Kamalganj in the early morning at 7:00 AM in return way drop for a while at Laowa Chhara inside the hill in between Kamalganj and Srimangal and then move towards Dhaka.
* Accommodation in twin/triple sharing basis (Only private “Home Stay” houses are available in this route). “Home Stay” is a service where we ensure clean bed sheet pillow cover and mosquito net will be provided by Harau Khongchat.
